A 300-year old farm on a stony outcrop amidst the rocky forests and lakes of Blekinge, southern Sweden, where you can truly lose yourself in the seemingly endless forest - yet just 20 km from the Baltic and a 2-hour drive from Copenhagen. Ours is a forest farm, where we do our best to minimise our impact on the environment. With four holiday houses in the surrounding area, several under construction/renovation on the farm and limited space for (small!) camper vans, our main business is holiday rentals. In addition we offer a selection of home-produce and/or locally sourced products for sale. We welcome volunteers who wish to enjoy a working holiday.
Be it a classical Swedish cottage, a quirky collection of cosy stugor, a converted farm building or simply a small place to park your camper van, we have something for everyone! All houses are fully renovated with all mod cons and have wood burning stoves to keep the winter chill at bay; dogs are welcome in all of them with the exception of the Hönshuset.
A warm welcome from Alex (German) and Fiona (Scottish)! We moved to Sweden in 2024, having exchanged our fast-stream, international careers for a lifestyle that makes it possible to enjoy the things we truly value.
Having lived, worked and travelled extensively across four continents, we know how much it means to experience a country from the inside - and we’re determined to help our guests do just that.
We care deeply about nature and the environment, so buying local, reusing and recycling are high on our agenda. Animal welfare is equally important - whether it’s the dogs, horses, goats, ducks, chickens or the amazing talking cat. In a nutshell: respect - for each other, our animals and our world.
